A FREE information event about fly-tipping is taking place at a Dartmoor car park next week.

Teignbridge District Council, Devon & Cornwall Police, Trading Standards, the Environment Agency and others will be at the upper Haytor car park on Monday, December 15.

Representatives from the abovementioned organisations will be on hand from 11am to 2.30pm.

The event is designed to raise awareness to members of the public around environmental waste crime and how it affects communities.

‘Should you be free, please do come along and support the event and find out how we can work together to reduce the impact of the offence of fly tipping’, said a spokesperson for the Ashburton and Chudleigh Policing Team.
