AFTER days of large falls the number of Covid cases in Teignbridge has fallen to 143, but three deaths have also been recorded.

According to the latest government figures, between May 6 and 12, 143 people had a confirmed positive test result, a decrease of -1.4% compared to the previous seven days.

Sadly, between the same dates there have been three deaths in Teignbridge within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 11 patients in hospital with coronavirus on May 10, but none of them was on a mechanical ventilator.

The number of tests reported has continued to fall since Covids restrictions were lifted at the start of April.

Between May 5 and 11 May 2022, there have been 6,488 tests in Teignbridge. This shows a decrease of -4.0% compared to the previous seven days.
