AN accident has caused a traffic jam and lane closure on the A30 this afternoon, Thursday, June 4.

Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the westbound carriageway of the A30 near Alphington, at around 2.35pm today.

Minor injuries to one person have been reported.

One lane has been closed while officers are dealing with the incident, Devon & Cornwall Police confirmed.

The incident is ongoing, though traffic is understood to be easing as of 4pm.
