A CRASH involving multiple vehicles left the A38 partially blocked this morning, Friday, December 5.

Traffic became queuing in the eastbound direction at around 7.30am following the incident.

Local road closures were put in place as police urged drivers to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.

Devon & Cornwall Police said that minor injuries had been reported.

The vehicles involved were recovered and the road reopened just after 9am.
