A VEHICLE is believed to have been intentionally set on fire near Dawlish on Monday.

Firefighters from Teignmouth Fire Station were called to Aller Hill shortly after 7.30pm on July 6.

On arrival, crews found the vehicle well alight on the public highway.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service believe the fire was started deliberately, and the incident has been logged with Devon & Cornwall Police.
