POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to locate a 47-year-old man from Torquay who has been reported missing.

Christopher Hurrell was last seen in Newton Abbot on Monday morning [January 26] where he is believed to have got the number 12 Stagecoach bus at around 8.47am.

The bus was then travelling in the direction of Torbay.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish his movements after getting on the bus, including where he got off.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘Searches and enquiries are ongoing to locate Christopher, but we’re appealing for anyone who may have information which could help, to please report it.

‘Christopher is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, of a stocky build with a bald head. He may be wearing a grey beanie and a two-tone navy blue and light blue coat as seen in the image attached which was captured this morning.

‘If you have seen Christopher or know of his whereabouts, please call police on 999 quoting log 535 of 26/01/25’.
