NEWTON Abbot's Sherborne House car park redevelopment advances with recent submissions of environmental and archaeological documentation.

Permission was granted in October 2025, albeit subject to conditions, namely the submission of further documentation, including a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and an Archaeological assessment, both of which have now been submitted.

As such, the project has taken its next step to becoming a reality.

The project will deliver 23 social rented flats comprising 13 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom homes across a four storey building.

The scheme has been designed to Passivhaus Plus standard, meaning that, in addition to being well-insulated and energy efficient, the development will generate enough renewable energy to operate the building throughout the whole year.
