PLANS to expand the car park and install electric charging points at Finlake have been withdrawn.

Submitted by Finlake Holiday Park, the application - reference 18/02394/FUL - had sought permission to resurface its existing car park, create an additional 20 spaces and install four electric charging points.

‘The upgrading of the car parking area will increase the visitor experience at Finlake Holiday Resort and potentially increase visitor spending in the area with return visitors’, the design and access statement for 18/02394/FUL said.

The application was submitted in 2018.

Another application for more than 20 new holiday lodges was also submitted in 2018, but was also later withdrawn.
