A MAN has been arrested after an incident in Dawlish that saw the police helicopter deployed.
Officers were called at around 11.35pm on Tuesday, May 20 to a report of a man, in his 30s, missing from the Dawlish area.
The force helicopter was deployed in the search.
The man was located on Wednesday, May 21, at Dawlish Train Station.
He was found to be on the wrong side of the railway bridge.
Following negotiation, the man climbed back over and was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to cause damage and sending a communication of an indecent or offensive nature.
‘He remains in police custody at this time’ a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said.
