It’S a special year for the Denbury Flower, Produce, Art and Craft Show as it’s their 50th.

Robert Morgan, chairman of the show committee, said: ‘As it’s also the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year, we have a special celebration class :Corgis come to Denbury!

‘They will be sitting quietly on the table waiting to be judged – we hope they’ll behave!! The handicraft judge will be looking at the stitching and fabric making up each before selecting best in class

‘Another special feature is the Rob Manuell award where 14-16 year-olds can exhibit one grown, one craft and one cooked item for a £15 first prize.’

There are also 78 other classes featuring flowers, fruit & veg, photography, poems, art, baking and craftwork. The show takes place on Saturday, August 6 at Denbury Village Hall, open from 2pm with free entry, raffle, delicious refreshments and presentations at 4pm.
