Newton Abbot Photographic Club members have certainly not been idle over the summer break and have been sharing some of the wide variety of photos with the members.

Mike gathered together a group of members who went to Brixham Steam Fair and captured a great variety of photos. He also organised a walk around Newton Abbot looking for architectural, people at work and street photography shots. The challenge was that all had to be taken at a focal length of 50mm, and a great set of photos were produced.

Kevin visited Dartmouth for the Fireworks which was a great event, and also took his camera up to Scotland and many other places.

Heather went along to the Teignmouth Carnival Procession, a really fun event, and recently captured the surfers in action off the front beach.

During the break, members also met socially several times at the Passage House Inn, to catch up and plan their next photo shoot!

The new season of regular Tuesday evening meetings, held at the Courtenay Centre starts September 6 at 7.30pm. The programme for the season has a wide range of topics to interest all those keen on photography, and new members are welcome.
