A MAN who denies having an offensive weapon in Kingskerswell or assaulting a man in Newton Abbot will stand trial at Exeter Crown Court.
Christopher Hoy, aged 48, of St Vincent’s Road, Torre, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Richard Hopes in Newton Abbot, causing him actual bodily harm.
He also denies having an offensive weapon in a public place, a baseball bat, at Kingskerswell.
He will appear before Exeter Crown Court on December 9.
