TEIGNBRIDGE District Council are delivering a series of targeted support programmes funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
The programmes are aimed at strengthening local enterprise and community resilience.
Launching in November, the Boost Your Start-Up programme offers free workshops, webinars and mentoring for new and growing businesses.
Topics include branding, finance, intellectual property and customer retention. Bookings are available via Eventbrite.
A spokesperson for the council said: ‘We are also continuing our support for local enterprises to develop bespoke Decarbonisation Plans, in partnership with Libraries Unlimited, BIPC Devon, Social Impact Support, and the Netshift consortium. Following the popularity of last year’s scheme, the programme has received renewed UKSPF funding.
‘We have also just completed a successful series of the Women in Business 2025 programme, delivered by Devon Business & IP Centre.
‘We were awarded £1.6 million in UKSPF and REPF funding to invest in local projects until March 2025 and a further £620,000 has been awarded for 2025/26’.
Planned schemes include support for the rural economy, town centre improvements, clean growth, visitor economy development, and agri-tech innovation.
