AN occupational therapist who completed her practise placement with Newton Abbot’s intermediate care team is preparing for a charity bungee jump, and she needs your help!

Chloe Mayo needs £350 to be able to the bungee jump, but the occupational therapist is hoping to raise as much as possible for her chosen charity.

The jump is set for May 11, with the proceeds going toward Tonic Music for Mental Health, a charity based in the South West that promotes mental health recovery through music.

‘I work in a mental health unit so wanted to do something for a mental health charity and love adrenaline so a bungee jump is perfect!’ Chloe said.

‘I see first hand how engagement in social, meaningful activities promotes mental health and wellbeing’ she added.

Chloe’s mum, Toni, said she is ‘very proud’ of her daughter.

‘She has also done a sky dive for meningitis and raised money for air ambulance, she works in mental health so it means a lot to her’ Toni said.
