DAWLISH Bowling Club host four charity days throughout the season, working hard to support local causes and one of those is AIMS.

AIMS (Activities, Interests, Music, Support) is a local children’s charity doing great work and they are close to the club’s heart.

These days allow anyone to enter a team to compete on four Sundays during the bowling season.

Alan & Cheryl Mathews organise the days to ensure they are well-run and well-supported.

All the teams have at least one bowler from the club, with all other players coming from local pubs, shops and people who live in the town.

On Sunday, September 7, a cheque for £500 was donated to AIMS, as pictured.

The club and its committee would like to thank everyone who took part during these charity days and to all the club members and volunteers who help make these days such a success.
