A 13-year-old has been left with injuries to his face after being assaulted by a group teenagers yesterday, Saturday, July 19 during Chudleigh Carnival.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the teenager was assaulted in the Multi Use Game Area (MUGA) in the town.
‘This was the day of the Chudleigh carnival and we believe the area was busy at the time’, says a spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police.
The incident, in which the young person sustained facial injuries, happened just before 7pm on Saturday, July 19.
The victim was surrounded by a group of young people of a similar age and assaulted sustaining actual bodily harm.

The incident was photographed/filmed and may have been posted to social media, police have said.
