CHILDREN at Wolborough CofE Primary School celebrated World Book Day, writes Jenny Lovick.

Dressing up as their favourite book characters and discussing their favourite tales were just some of the fun events they enjoyed.

Some of these pictures are of children at school and sharing stories on a trip to the library.

There is also a picture of the School Councillors visiting WHSmith.

They had a tour of the shop floor and behind the scenes with Colin the manager.

They were allowed to choose some of the World Book Day Books and were given £100 of vouchers which will be used as prizes in a new exciting reading challenge!

‘They had a great time and we were very grateful to Colin for welcoming us,’ said Jenny Lovick.
