A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of a Newton Abbot man accused of assaulting a police officer.

Joshua Clifford Kettle, 27, of Sandringham Road, is charged with the offence on April 8 2022.

He is also charged with threatening behaviour on the same date.

Magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest without bail after he failed to appear in court.
