SPIKEY the Hedgehog has arrived in Kingskerswell.

Designed by Kingskerswell Primary School pupil Poppy, Spikey was the winning design in Kingskerswell Parish Council’s anti-litter campaign competition.

Spikey the Hedgehog banners can now be seen at Kingskerswell Primary School and the Playing Field, with posters throughout the village.

Elsewhere, Kingkerswell Parish Council is backing nature by leaving several grass verge areas in the village unmown.

The council hopes that by doing so is pollinators like bees, butterflies, insects and long grasses which produce wildflowers and seeds for food and shelter, will be better supported.
