SOUTH West Water is hosting a public meeting to update residents on progress so far in Dawlish.

The multi-million pound project currently underway throughout the town is aimed at improving water quality.

The public session will take place on Tuesday September 9 at the Strand Centre.

A spokesman said: ‘We are holding a session in Dawlish for locals to find out more about our progress with the project.’

Doors open at 5.30pm and at 6pm there will be a presentation by contractors Evolve Infrastructure about the storm tanks which are being built on the Lawn and at Sandy Lane.

This will be followed by a representative from Network Plus contractors talking about the surface water separation work.
