THE KING passed through Dawlish this afternoon on his return from his trip to Dartmouth Royal Naval College.
His Majesty was on board the Royal Train as it passed through Dawlish station along the coastal route heading east.
The King has been at the naval college to preside over the commissioning of junior officers.
Earlier he had alighted the Royal Train at Totnes Station where he was met by crowds who gathered on the platform.
His Majesty The King joined Dartmouth more than 50 years ago, in 1971, as a member of the Blake Division and spent six weeks training at the college.
