Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have 15 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A38, from 7pm October 16 to 6am December 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay to Goodstone lane closure for S278, junction improvement works. Minor local authority, junction closed, eastbound, traffic diverted via Goodstone junction. Westbound, traffic diverted via A38 westbound to Linhay and return to Goodstone to exit.
And a further 14 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 7pm November 29 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Cheriton Bishop to Whiddon Down lane closure and convoy for carriageway surfacing works.
• A30, from 8pm November 29 to 5.30am November 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 eastbound, exit slip road to A30 westbound, at M5, junction 31 closure for horticulture, diversion for non-motorway traffic via Wobbly Wheel exit, A379, Bad Homburg Way, Alphin Brook Road to A30 Alphington, diversion for motorway traffic via M5, junction 30 and return to junction 31.
• A38, from 8pm November 30 to 4am December 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford exit slip road closure for drainage, diversion via A38, exit at Chudleigh and return via A38, exit at Halden Hill, A380 to Kennford.
• A38, from 7pm December 4 to 6am December 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A38 westbound, Dartbridge lane closure for structure maintenance.
• A38, from 7pm December 4 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Drumbridges lane closure for drainage works.
• A30, from 8pm December 4 to 6am December 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed for surveys, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.
• A30, from 9.30am December 5 to 3.30pm December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for technology works.
• A30, from 7pm December 5 to 6am December 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 to junction 30 - carriageway closure for structural works. Diversion via A30 to Alphington, A377,B3123 and A379 to junction 30.
• A30, from 8pm December 6 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Woodleigh to Fingle Gen - lane closure for structure maintenance works.
• A30, from 8pm December 6 to 6am December 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Woodleigh slip road closed for structure maintenance works. Diversion via A30 eastbound to Alphington and return to exit.
• A38, from 7pm December 11 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane exit slip road closed for carriageway surfacing works. Diversion via A38 eastbound to Chudleigh Station and B3193.
• A30, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen to Ide lane closures for structure maintenance.
• A30, from 8pm December 11 to 5am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 30 to junction 31 lane closures for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
