POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a single-vehicle collision just off the A38 near Buckfastleigh left a woman in her 20s with serious injuries.

Officers were called shortly after 10.15pm on Monday, July 13, following the crash at the top of the slip road for Buckfastleigh and the Dartbridge over-bridge.

As a result of the collision, the passenger in the Jaecoo 7 - a woman in her 20s from Plymouth - sustained serious injuries.

The driver was uninjured.

The road was closed for a period while emergency services carried out investigations.

Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dash-cam footage to come forward.
