Teignmouth Farmers’ market is picnic ready for you this Saturday, July 30.

We’ve got burgers and sausages for starters from Beardon Farm’s own dexters and free range pigs, as well as hand dived scallops for posh and easy starters.

Add to your picnic basket a few pork pies or chicken and leek from Red Earth Kitchen, or a game pasty from Stanbury Game and all you need is something to drink.

Got that one too with small batch brew Copperhead Ale beer or Black Rabbit cider. While you are at Black Rabbit’s stall grab a bag of his locally made charcoal for the Barbie.

Don’t forget the vegans and vegetarians...the market has them covered too with ready to eat salads and bites from Veggie Kitchen, squeaky fresh veg from Shillingford, and taste tempting tempeh from Tip Top Tempeh in Dawlish.

The big decision will be is it cheeses or cakes for afters?

Curworthy Cheese has a lovely selection of hand made cheeses, whilst Norsworthy Goats has lively fresh and aged cheeses.

Pair them with bread from Bread of Devon, and chutney from Shute Fruit. If it is sweet, try an Italian tiramisu from Pesto, or a traditional cake from Pat a Cakes right here in Teignmouth.

Tilley’s will have all of your wheat based treats, certified gluten free.
