A FAST food outlet in Newton Abbot announced a temporary closure today [Monday April 25].

McDonald’s in Newton Abbot announced the eatery will be closed until June 1 - this is due to refurbishment work.

With this closure, the nearest McDonald’s for Newton Abbot residents is Torquay Hele Road.

On their Facebook page, McDonald’s Newton Abbot said: ‘We will be coming back with a brand new refurb, this includes a new dining area, new kitchen layout, separate McDelivery courier area and new fixtures and fittings.’

In spite of the refurbishment work, Newton Abbot McDonald’s will still be hiring new staff.
