A MAN is facing more than the charges after a series of alleged thefts from vehicles in Newton Abbot and surrounding areas.

Anthony Mcstein, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with offences relating to incidents in Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot and Paignton between late 2023 and January 2024.

The charges include seven counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one count of handling stolen goods, one count of possession of class A drugs, two counts of fraud by false representation, two counts of criminal damage and one count of theft.

Mr Mcstein is due to appear at Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court on June 12.

The charges follow an investigation by the Newton Abbot Neighbourhood Policing Team.
