POLICE have made an arrest following a series of burglaries from schools in Dawlish.

A suspect was located and arrested over the weekend, the Coastal and Rural Teignbridge Neighbourhood Team said.

The man was interviewed for the offences, before the Crown Prosecution Service bailed him with conditions.

A spokesperson for the Coastal and Rural Teignbridge Neighbourhood Team said: ‘Please be vigilant around schools over the coming weeks particularly outside school hours.

‘If you see any suspicious behaviour please call it in immediately on 999.

‘Many thanks for you ongoing help and support’.
