A MAN from Bishopsteignton has admitted injuring a man during an attack in Newton Abbot in which he was armed with a broken bottle.
Morgan Driscoll, aged 20, of Lawns End, Bishopsteignton, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing a broken bottle as an offensive weapon and using it to threaten violence during the same incident in Market Street, Newton Abbot, on May 1 this year.
Judge Anna Richardson adjourned the case until next month, ordered a probation pre-sentence report, and released Driscoll on bail.
