A TEIGNBRIDGE hospital is looking to take advantage of renewable energy as it submits an application for an array of solar panels.
Submitted by the Devon Partnership NHS Trust, the application - reference 25/01244/MAJ - is seeking permission for a new solar park at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish.
The proposal to install a ground mounted solar panel array to the north of The Dewnans building also includes provision for a perimeter fence and battery storage.
The arrays will be mounted at an aspect of 20 degrees to maximise solar gain.
The perimeter fence will be metal mesh in a dark green colour at a height of three metres.
Teignbridge District Council are expected to make a decision on or before February 10
