THE KNITTY Noras of Dawlish have been out in force providing festive decorations around the town.
Crochet expert Val Hemstock has created a candle-themed post box topper which can be seen in The Strand.
Meanwhile Noreen Goodchild has been busy knitting bunting which is now in place in various locations including outside the Strand Centre.
Noreen, who was part of a world record bunting attempt in Exeter, is also one of the members of the town’s Random Acts of Kindness initiative.
The group leaves ‘random’ items, usually crochet, sometimes
chocolates and soft toys, to spread
happiness and ‘bring a smile to someone’s face’.
Noreen raised £51 at the Dawlish Christmas Market for the Mayor’s charities.
Members of the group have also made Angels of Hope to decorate a tree at St Gregory’s Church for its Christmas Tree Festival.
