HAMSTER owners in Dawlish and the surrounding area are invited to show off their pets at the Southern Hamster Club show.

The organisation is hosting a Hamster and Pet Show on Saturday March 4.

The event is free to enter and pets will be charged £1 each to enter classes.

There will be classes for Syrian and dwarf hamsters as well as other small pets including mice, rats, guinea pigs and gerbils.

Entrants are asked to bring their pets in its own cage or suitable secure travelling box.

Pets will be judged on tameness and condition.

The show is taking place at St Mary’s Church Hall, Dawlish Warren.
