A FLOOD alert has been issued by the Environment Agency (EA) for the area surrounding the River Teign.

‘Take care near the areas of concern and monitor your local weather conditions’ a spokesperson for EA.

‘We are constantly monitoring river levels, and this message will be updated on Friday, March 29, or earlier if the situation changes’ the spokesperson added.
