AT Ashcombe Village Hall on July 5, the organisers of the monthly Charity Bingo (alias the ‘Cuddly Toy Gang’) arranged for donations totalling £3250 to be presented to five local charities.

£1250 to Dawlish Disability Transport, £500 to AIMs, £500 to the Strand Centre, Dawlish, £500 to St Nectans Church in Ashcombe and £500 to Talking Newspapers, Teignbridge.

The presentations were made by various members of Ashcombe Village Hall - in the 15 months since the Charity Bingo started, a total of £6000 has been donated to charity.

The Cuddly Toy Gang said they are very grateful to all the people who attend the bingo.
