A MAN in his sixties died after suffering a medical emergency while out on his bike in Starcross.

Police were called at around 10am on Wednesday, March 25 following a concern for welfare for a male cyclist on The Strand.

Emergency services attended, but sadly a local man in his 60s was pronounced deceased at the scene, Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed.

The man’s next of kin has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
