Covid cases fall by 35.9%

WHILE Covid cases may have fallen by 35.9 per cent over the past week, 10 deaths are recorded in the latest Government figures.
Between April 7 and 13, 712 people had a confirmed positive test result in Teignbridge. This shows a decrease of -35.9% compared to the previous seven days.
Between the same dates there have been 10 deaths in the district within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 65 patients in hospital with coronavirus on April 5, two of them were on a mechanical ventilator.
