A YOUTH from Kingskerswell admitted assaulting two police officers and possessing cannabis.
The 15-year-old who cannot legally be named, admitted possessing 10.26 grams of cannabis in Torquay. He was ordered to pay £22 to fund victim services and referred to Devon youth offender panel for a contract having effect for one months, with a total contract period of four months.
The youth admitted assaulting emergency workers Police Constables Kayleigh Bridges and Samuel Essam on October 21 last year.
The court records ‘the offence was aggravated by being committed against an emergency worker acting in the exercise of functions as such.’
He was ordered to pay £25 to victim services on each of the two assault charges and referred to Devon youth offender panel for a contract having effect for one month.
