TEIGNBRIDGE Council will not renew its lease of a Newton Abbot car park.

The council has leased Venture Court car park for several years.

However, its current lease expires on March 31, and the council has not agreed to a new lease with the land owner.

Teignbridge Council will, therefore, remove its machines and cease operating the car park at the end of March.

As such, the future of the long-stay, 93 space car park is unclear, though the Mid-Devon Advertiser has reached out the the land owner for clarity.
