THE number of thanks and complaints received by Devon & Cornwall Police last month has been revealed in a Freedom of Information (FOI) request.
In May, the force received 243 complaint forms from members of the public, the FOI request shows.
The figure in May was an increase over the previous month when the number was 197.
Devon & Cornwall Police received 65 online 'say thanks' forms from members of the public in May.
Again, an increase over April when the force received 35 thanks forms.
In the past three months, 643 complaint forms have been submitted and 162 thanks forms.
It should be noted that, the above figures do not account for those complaints and thanks made via the telephone, post or in person; the true figure, therefore, is likely higher.
