AN Exminster man has been charged with entering an Exeter store as a trespasser and attempting to steal nearly £2,920.
The charge against Philip Neil Seaton aged 41, of Milbury Farm Meadow, relates to a Costcutter store at Burnthouse Lane, Exeter.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court adjourned the case to August 11 for a Newton hearing.
Seaton was granted conditional bail that he is on curfew from 8pm to 7am with the condition that he is electronically monitored.
