CATS Protection is seeking volunteers in Teignbridge to foster a cat or kitten.

The charity are looking for people who can provide safe, loving temporary care for cats and kittens until they find their forever home.

Prospective fosterers will provide daily care, play, exercise, as well as help prepare cats for adoption, including introducing them to potential adopters.

Cats can be kept in the home or in a purpose-built pen in the garden provided by Cats Protection.

All training, equipment, food and expenses covered will be covered by the charity.

Those wanting to foster a cat should apply by September 30.
