POLICE have urged drivers to take care in the busy holiday traffic after a caravan flipped over on the A380 this afternoon, Friday.

The South Bound lane of the A380 was closed at Ashcombe until recently after a visitor's caravan overturned in a single vehicle accident.

'Please take care on the roads today, they are busy with holiday traffic,' warned the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team on Twitter.

The accident was reported shortly before 1pm and the road was opened around three hours ago.

Police reported: 'The collision involved a car towing a caravan.

'The caravan overturned and ended up on its side and the car was in collision with a tree.

'No serious injuries.

'Ambulance and fire were on scene.'
