FIRE crews were called to Buckfastleigh Town Hall on Wednesday (September 2) after water began entering the building following damage to its guttering.
The flooding was affecting the electrics, with crews first making the electrical systems safe before using a 13.5-metre ladder to access the roof.
Firefighters carried out a temporary repair to the guttering to help prevent further water entering the building during heavy rainfall.
The incident was one of two attended by Buckfastleigh Fire Station during the day.

Crews later responded to a fire involving a Devon Highways grass-cutting vehicle at the Marley Head junction of the A38.
Firefighters from Ashburton and a water bowser from Plympton also attended.
