RESIDENTS in Bovey Tracey are being invited to meet their local police team at a community meeting next month.

The ‘Talk with your Local Police Team’ event will take place at the Methodist Church on Tuesday, September 1, from 3pm to 4pm.

The meeting will give local people an opportunity to raise concerns, report crime and antisocial behaviour, and ask questions about crime prevention and staying safe.

Residents who are unable to attend can still report crimes through the police website.

Police have also warned that, while every effort will be made to attend, the meeting could be cancelled at short notice due to unexpected policing requirements.
