Andrew Steven King, aged 41, of Cockhaven Close, had a charge proved in his absence from court that he failed to provide police with the identity of the driver of an Audi A3 who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court fined him £660 and ordered him to pay costs of £90 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £66 to fund victim services.

His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points and he was banned from driving for 18 months and the court said the ‘Disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.

King was fined a further £660 with costs of £90 and £66 to fund victim services for another similar offence.

He received a further three penalty points for driving an Audi at Balls Corner, Newton Abbot, otherwise than in a licence authorising him to drive a vehicle of that class.
