TWO charges of assault against a Newton Abbot man have been dismissed.

Charlie Brad Trendall, aged 24, of Greenaway Road, had denied assaulting a man causing him actual bodily harm and also pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a woman by beating.

He was found not guilty and the charges were dismissed by South and West Devon Magistrates' Court.
