A MAN has been accused of driving a car with brakes and handbrake that ‘did not stop the car at all.’

Ricky Douglas Early, aged 32, of Swale Close, Efford, Plymouth, has been charged with using a Vauxhall vehicle on Ashburton Road, Newton Abbot, when the braking system did not stop the vehicle which was not maintained in a good and efficient working order.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court adjourned the case to April 28 for a trial
