‘WONDERFUL performances’ by children from Our Lady and St Patrick’s Primary School, Red Rock Harmony and Kathryn Collings were praised at the Teignmouth Civic and Carol Service.

Teignmouth Mayor and Mayoress, Cllrs Peter and Cate Williams, invited everyone to the service at St Michael’s Church.

They thanked the children and singers for their wonderful performances

They added: ‘A special thanks to Reverend Carol Green for preparing the order of service, Red Rock Harmony and children at Our Lady and St Patrick’s Primary School for their performances and the Cadets for their support.

‘We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year.’

‘Thank you to everyone for joining us at the service today.’

The service was led by the Rev Carol Green, Priest in Charge Haldon Mission Community, local Humanist Paul Bennett shared his thoughts and there was a Bible reading and reflection by the Rev Sue Astbury. The Mayoress read a Christmas poem.

Local organisations brought forward and laid their standards.
