AN agricultural vehicle caught fire in a barn at Chudleigh.

Fire Control received a couple of calls shortly before noon on Friday to the fire within a barn.

They sent three appliances – one each from from Torquay, Newton Abbot and Bovey Tracey. They also mobilised a water bowser from Torquay. 

A Fire Control spokesperson said: ‘On arrival crews one agriculture vehicle was on fire within the barn.

‘Crews extinguished this fire using two breathing apparatus, one CAFS jet, a thermal imaging camera, two positive pressure ventilation fans and drag forks.’
