AN animal rescue charity has said it is ‘super proud’ of one of its volunteers who is preparing to run one hundred miles for them.

Laura Blows is hard at work preparing for the challenge, which is aid of ELM Wildlife, a South Devon animal rescue charity.

‘I have been a volunteer at the center since August 2023, and have seen first hand the hard work and dedication of ELM to help wildlife in need’ Laura said.

‘On May 4, I'm attempting my first ever 100 mile run to fundraise for the charity.

‘Starting at 9am, I'll be running from Richmond to Oxford, and based on my training I expect to finish at midday on May 5’ she added.

Laura has set a target of £1,500.

She has already raised more than £1,000.

‘We are super proud of Laura who is fundraising for us!’ a spokesperson for ELM Wildlife said.

‘If you are able to sponsor Laura for this tremendous run she is completing for ELM, we would love to help her smash her goal of £1,500’ the spokesperson added.
