POLICE are keen to speak with a woman who had eggs thrown at her while she was holding a baby during an incident in Teignmouth.

Teignmouth and Dawlish Neighbourhood Policing Team received reports of young people throwing eggs, which were stolen from Co-op on Bank Street, at people and cars on Monday, May 26.

At the time, one male was arrested for theft, while four others were under investigation for theft and assault.

Officers continue to investigate the incident and have since been informed that a female may have had an egg thrown at her while she was holding a baby.

A spokesperson for the Teignmouth and Dawlish Neighbourhood Policing Team said: ‘We believe we have footage of that incident.
